Hi all. I haven't post in the "finished works" from a long time. I'm busy with the stuff like 'warhammer' and etc. I'm happy that I have found some free time to make something for my own fun and I hope that you will like it too.
p.s. If you want to see the full step by step process you can go to my sketck book (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=67261&page=2), or to fallow the link to my web site (http://www.velinov.com)

Wow, I love this Picture. Great work man. However, I do find that the leg seems out of place in someway.
Lovin' the HAIR! Nice detail.

I like this a lot. I hope she doesn't stab her tummy.
The only thing that bugs me is the fabric near her shoe. It seems like it's the only part of the painting that's unfinished, and so it stands out from everything else. Or maybe it's not that it's unfinished, but it blends into the ground and bg colors. Maybe if the fabric contrasted more from its surroundings just in that area...

Wow, Svetlin. That's a lovely painting and it really looks like a step forward for you, if you don't mind me saying so.
Couple of tiny crits. Her pose feels just a little bit awkward to me - not wrong, just not very natural, though that may have been what you were looking for. And her hair is bugging me a bit - the angle of her head suggests to me that we'd see more hair on the right, rather than the left as you have it now and that's making the whole of that bold silhouette she's making feel a bit unbalanced.
I'm really enjoying all the detail and the painterly feel in the background. Nice job!

Absolutely beautiful painting!
I do see an issue, however, with the way the eyes read. My first impression was that the ladies eyes were wide open, captured in some enraged tango-fury. It wasn't until I looked at the face progression, then back at the image that I realized her eyes were closed. Something about the shade of her eyelids, and the particular tangent of the beads draping across them - which almost support the illusion of the eyelids being peeled back. Other than this observation... simply marvelous.

well done sir! nice details. The hair feels a little awkward to me- like she would have a hard time walking around with that 'do- but other than that I am digging this.

I love it, it s gorgeous, BUT I think in your initial sketches you had the face better aligned as it is in the final one. And the very bottom part of her dress looks a tiny bit unfinished. The BG is beuatiful and her hair is friggin crazy!!!! I like it how you have combined the darks of the lady with the soft, light colours of the BG. Sweet job, added to my fav folder :)

Fantastic Svetlin! I love the background. The subtlety is superb. And I don't have a problem with the pose. My only crit was the beads over the eyes. It took a moment to 'read' what was going on, but that's probably because I'm thick! :)

Thank you all guys!!! You've made my day! I don't expect such a big activity over this thread. 10X :) Thanks for the comments and crits.
@Matt Dixon - Thank you mate!!! I think that you are right about everything you have said, but she is really unnatural creature. Most of the fillings that I've wanted to express wasn't her external beauty... I've wanted to go deeper into her spiritual nature. I hope that this image makes you feel not only with your eyes, but and with some other senses...
@finger - that is the right expression of her face.
@andreasrocha - I don't know mate! I'm a little bit scared about my self. It was the maddest week in my entire life... Thanks! :)
@Mandryk - Thank you sir! About the hair. It wasn't my original idea. I've wanted to make some embroidery across her hair and a little bit over her face, like the one on her sleeves, but it seemed to me quite mad think after all that vegetation...
@fooxoo - I've changed the original concept because it is a little bit of a cliche. You know... beautiful mystic woman in front of some creepy and scary think. I've so this many times before.:) Thank you!!!
@Poshspice - Thank you Aly!!! You are right in some way, but the beads are important for all her expression, for me.
Cheers

It seems you've updated from last time I saw it. I noticed the fabric is more finished now?
