Hey All,
I'll be moving out to San Francisco sometime in the next month. Just thought I'd make a post here to see if anyone has any tips for a new kid in town. Also, if anyone needs a roommate, it would be cool to live with someone from this community instead of a random person off of craigslist. Anyway, thanks a lot for any advice you guys offer up.

HAHA, you and me both! I'm due to fly out on the 22. I already have a roomie at the moment (just not a place to live!) but if you want info on neighborhoods and realtors, send me a PM.

just try not to live in the tenderloin :)
if you have a car and it's not completely necessary to have it, you should probably sell it... parking's an expensive beast here. And yeah, like Layil said, craigslist is a great resource.

I'd love to move out to San Francisco. It looks like a great city and I would get to wear my favorite jacket all year round :) (its 84 degrees in philly right now and 63 in SF :( ). The only thing holding me back is being broke and in debt. Maybe in a few years I'll be able to go and maybe get into the MB school. :)

yeah I will have been here for a year in August, and this city is a wonderful place to be. Expensive yes, but not as expensive at New York. So it could be worse. I love it.
