Hey

Here are some sketches that I dug out of my desk in as I was cleaning it... Believe it or not, I also found money labeled "Da Afghanistan Bank." I have 500 Afganis to deposit in my bank account... Enough to by half a teabag.

enjoy. Feedback is welcome... I know these defenently aren't up to even my standards though.

btw-My scanner is doing this thing when a centimeter wide yellow bar appears on every scan now. Anyone have any idea on how to fix it if possable?

Sorry about that. I uploaded my entire site (of 7MB) yesterday and then after not even having finished, I was given a message saying that I exceded my daily transfer limit. The images should be back up tomarrow.

nardfrog: I guess I assumed that the forum would be locked so that regular users couldn't create threads if that were the case. The last thing I want to do is intrude so if a moderator decides to move or delete this thread, or ask me to do so, it's not a problem.

Nice sketches. I like the top two best.

These are sketchbook scans right? Sketches are an attempt to get ideas from our mind to paper, or practice drawing something in some technique, etc. So don't worry about them "being up to your standards". I personally think a lot of the sketches in my sketchbooks are crap! But some pages kind of look good once in awhile. I've heard from many of the best that it's all about the mileage. Sketchbooks make the final drawings look better and better each time.

As far as the yellow bar on the scan, my scanner started doing that too. Unfortunately it kept getting worse. It was only a $100 scanner so I got rid of it. Sorry about the bad news there. A "work-around" is to scan in grayscale. It didn't seem to pick up the band at all then. BTW, is it a UMAX?
