Technically this is my third sketchbook in about 3 years? Generally, I draw in my sketchbooks for relaxing and lately it's been anime style for the most part which I got into about two years ago.

But anyways it's not much to look at now (only 2 pages done), but I hope to actually get an entire sketchbook online eventually.

I decided to kind of "start over" with the basics again, since I think I put myself in a corner by drawing anime almost exclusively when I wasn't doing ads or things for my design classes.

So, without further ado, here are some stick man pose studies. About 5-7 secs for each of these. Crits and comments welcome. I'll update this thread as often as possible. One of my resolutions is to draw everyday.

Pose No. 12 Figure / Concept Study:

Turned out to be kind of Clive Barker-esque for some reason. Started out as a kind of crucifixion then for some reason my brain told me to play with rings, wire, and bandages. :evilbat:

Pose No. 18 Figure / Concept Study:

This one turned into a grendel-like monster complete with claws and horns.
