Hey everybody, its my first posting here and I gotta say theres some truly inspiring work here!
Here are two concepts for Artem and Jack Bull that are some of the central characters in my graphic novel, The Republic. Both done entirely in Photoshop.

very nice stuff. The right had in the first one has got some problems, don't like the way it holds the gun.The lower part of his legs looks a bit too thin too.But very nice textures, painting and messy background.About the second one, i don't rally like the design of the outfit, but good work omn the rendering etc.

my last name is domochowski, its polish and so ive had the nickname domo from as early as I can remember. And I know arigato means thankyou in japanese. Thats just me being an idiot. Aaannyway...about the hands, Ive had crits on both of them so I think Im going to change them. And the legs off eh?...I cant see it. Maybe ill get some ref. And as for the costume. I guess thats unfortunate for you if you dont like the costume because I like it.

Domo arigato oh Mr. Roboto!

The right (his right) deltoid on the second character seems a bit big, and the position of the first ones hands seem a little awkward, but the textures are spot on, and most of the anatomy looks good, too. I really like the background on the first one, even the "fading into white" thing, but that arm is really far outside. It really gets in the way of the otherwise great composition. Or possibly, instead of moving that arm, move the one closest to the viewer downward, closer to his side.

The right hand also looks like a profile view, when it should really be turned to the left just a bit. Minor detail. All-in-all I really do like them.

the forearms on the second piece are too short compared to the upper arm.
