It was very hard for me not to vote for Justin Caise. That picture ist just tooo cute :D

Andres Pad: Great mood, i dont like the background though, the plants somehow lessens the effect of the mood.

Jucas: Although your photo got the most votes so far, i have no idea how "Masquerade" fits in. I might be a bit ignorant or something. Personally, not as appealing as some of the other photos on here
Justin Caise: Dude, id vote for you by all means if the subject of the competition was "Cute"

Instinct tells me to vote for Jucas or Justin Caise because I feel like they are the best photographically. However, Jucas' doesn't fit in my mind. Or I'm missing something.

I don't think the topic was bad, I think it was hard. Especially with only one week.

Regarding Jucas's entry—I wouldn't of voted it if I didn't see the resemblance to the topic. But in my own way I did, and I thought people would of seen the same resemblance as I say but I was wrong! I often come up with weird things for photos so here is how I got at it...

I felt the women dressed up were in their "costume" as you like as opening to the world in what they believe, they show this by their clothing which makes a statement to what they believe by their religious bible - the anti-war protest they are on is showing this.

Plus photography technical wise I love it, the lighting and the BW adds to the atmosphere after all war isn't a colourful thing is it. I would really like to know how you got this photo Jucas btw, It could of been took digitally but it looks allot like from film, which is great either way!

EDIT - Also from what I put saying the topic "sucked" I think I was abit harsh and arrogant their, it was hard, and not practical for one week IMO.

I think I identify most with Laxlupus' as I am a non drinker but sometimes will partake of a "near-beer" to feel as though I am drinking (sense?). I also like the perspective.
Igorshirts would get my vote for ... technical complexity(?), and the colors are awesome, but it's just too, uhmm - well you know.

I had an idea, and some people understood and admired the idea!

I didnt have the best camera around, as my other(good) camera is broken up, so i am back to using my 2.0 Tiny Tweed Sony camera that is roughly as big as my thumb, at least i tried.

Anywho, Lax, you got my vote, i just love the photo, masquerade or not masquerade, great photo! My brother walked in, looked at the photo, he was like: "Is that an advertisement?"

This has to be the worst turn out of photos in any competition ive seen on here. We are all capable of so much better. With exception of one or 2 entrys that are the quality standard.
