simply amazing mr. jones both yesterday's piece and todays. like i said b4 i'm a lover of line work, considering you can commit a lot of emotion in just a single stroke.

you keep on inspiring me, and i always look forward to your portrait of the day. i'll be posting a few of my early attempts soon on the guest portraits to see how can i improve.

if u dont mind me asking, did u just use 1 brush size for this drawing? i'm thinking it's in painter. curious because i would like to obtaint the same kind of fluid strokes with the brush or pencil, you used to create this work of art. to make a fake pencil look like a real one :)

keep up the excellent work. and btw, i'm looking forward to Metroid Prime

Looks great. I really like the texture on the top of the foerhead, the little scratch things that almost look like hair.

This is great stuff. How long does each self portrait take you? Really inspiring.
In fact, so inspiring that I start to do my own self portrait of the day last night. I'm doin mine in pencil on 14 x 17 paper (my computer is too slow), so I have to set aside 2 1/2 hours each day AND still work on the portfolio for college. It'll be hard to do.

But if you can find time to do it, I can too!

Well, I don't know what another compliment is going to do for you...

so I'll say that I think you have a tendency to neglect the lips by placing the top one in shadow and ignoring most of the structures/reflected light. your nose looks a little smalller than usual in this one.

Heh. I was looking at some Bernini self-portraits and I think you guys probably have similar haircuts.

Nice work as usual, though.
