Here I am once again, that incompetent 16yr old, you guys were extremely helpful in providing commentary for my first piece.
I have been working on some concept art for my junior year final. I would really appreciate any comments that could help me improve my concept art. Thank you.

Hmm, the second one is better, it got more dynamic. When doing concept are, try to pull out the best perspective that showes most of the beauty.
Add line work into it.
When doing concept art, it is about concepts, ideas how the thing should look like, so be as creative as you can. Do things that are original and unique, and things that give a plus into your images, things like marks, color strips and what not.
But I am not really a professional but thats the only thing I can comment for now. Hope it helps....

I agree, the second one is much better. But what is he, an astronaut? Tell us what this character is about and what's going to be going on in the bg. Then it should be easier for us to help you out.
BTW, you rock for only being 16.

Nice work on these!
I can't remember seeing your other posts, but from these drawings alone I can say a few things. First, I agree with what's stated above. Also, your drawings stick in the same value and shading range. If this were a concept for a costume, right now he's wearing a white mask, white suit, white tubes. Play with making some things a darker material, then those pieces would be all gray, with darker darks, and not so light highlights.
Also, with concept work, it's easy to become lost in what to draw. So first, come up with characters and ideas...flesh them out first, then let the drawing reflect what your idea is. It's much easier and more fun too.
Keep it up!

Thank you so much to everyone to replied. My character is supposed to be a grunt, the setting is post apocalyptic, fallout type of scenario, his suit is like an environmental suit. I'm sort of lost with what to do with my character, it doesnt seem realistic considering how bulky the suit is. I hope someone can guide me.
Thank you once again, I need all the help I can get :) .
I hope to update you guys soon.
