Hi all,

Visual Arts Brampton, a community art group, is offering a week-long maquette sculpting course at its studio. The course will be taught by Alvaro Cervantes, who has created maquettes and toy prototypes for Disney, Pixar, and Marvel. With 16 years of experience, he's also taught at Sheridan College.

The course is every day from July 10 to 14, 9 am to 4 pm. It's $300 to take the course, supplies are included.

There's no requirements for previous experience or skill, so long as you have a passion for creating.

For more information, to get an attachment with his sculpture samples, or to sign up, try visualartsbrampton@gmail.com or (905) 453-9142.

Thanks,
Keith Moreau

Wow, I had Alvaro teach me at Sheridan in the Animation Fundamentals program just this past year. Didn't know he'd be holding lessons this summer so close to home. He's a wonderful teacher, and I'd highly recommend his lessons to anyone who's interested.

Hey Keith,

I've forwarded this information to several of my students. I think that this kind of workshop would do people wonders. I hope they and a boatload of other people show up for this and really take advantage of it. It sounds like a great opportunity not to be missed.
