i did get wet.. like soaked ... but accidently..
i was behind this guy who got a bucket full of water..
i got splashed and my camera got wet too..
i was calm though.. but my cam was hella wet and with the 70-200mm 2.8
thats moer than $2,600 in my hands.and the 20d doesnt have any weather seals

and the bikers asked me if everythins ok.the whole day.. i said ya

so i wiped the water off hopin that it wont short out.
surprisingly everything was ok the whole day.

just my battery acts a lil different now, when i charge it it says full but i know it aint. but no preformance change.

well im still good to go and ready to shoot

holy cow! i want your camera!

and yeah, those shots are heaps cool. especially the ones where the water is just sorta hovering above their heads :P

around 5 lbs with the 24-70mm lens..maybe like 6 with the flash..
it does suck sometimes..
when i just wanna travel on foot,i gotta plan first on how far and how many things i can shoot.

i dont like to lug around the L lenses , so i take the 50mm mostly. but for special occasions ill take the L lense along.

yea DSLRs are heavy as hell. compared to my nikon slr from 20 years ago.

what i really wanna get is a hasselblad... but mdan those things are way expensive.

Ukanfoff....I think those photos are fantastic...you really get a feel for the atmosphere and the warmness of the day. The water flowing onto people looks great and the one with the guys arms out where u can on ly see his back with water mid air around him is just perfect.

btw...are they the bikers?
