I'm amazed at the fanboy rage in the other thread when we haven't even seen any footage yet. I grew up with the tv show, watched the 1st movie in theaters a couple times, have the toys, etc, etc. Personally I'm stoked that we're even going to get a live action movie. I understand they gotta do whatever they gotta do to make it work in live action, and deals with car companies have to be made to fund the movie. Only Lucas has that kind of fuck-you money. If Bay and company can honor the core of the characters like others have with Spidey and Xmen, I'll be ecstatic.
Anyway here's a pic of the on-set Bumblebee animatronic that Aint-it-cool got.
(The picture is huge, so I'll just link to it)

D'OH! The studio made them take down the pic, although I've seen it in several places around the net. With a little searching you can find it.

So is that the 07 camaro I keep hearing about? Either way, it'll be awesome to see. I would prefer to see g1 classic autobots and the decepticon jetfighters. Getting fond flashbacks now......

Wow...they're actually using a mock up for parts of it instead of 100% CG? Surprising (to me at least).

I'll still go see it dispite the changes. As enamored as I am with my childhood, I've revisted enough of it to know that it all actually sucked and just seemed cool because I was a kid.

Seems that this movie's transformers are pretty "holey". ...Lots of internal parts exposed.
