Right now I have my heart set on going to NY for school. There's a 2 year program at Pratt I have my eye on. The only thing is, it's sooo expensive. I've been looking around and there seems to be a lot of classes in southern California that are tailor-made for concept art. Can anyone recommend any solid degree programs out there in Socal? A 2 year program would be a plus for me, since I'm in my mid-twenties making a career switch.
I've been doing a lot of thinking and living and going to school in NY may be too expensive for me. I want to eventually do concept art/illustration/ and maybe some 3d animation as well. I loved NY when I visited, but maybe the west coast is a better option? I know it's probably better for a job...but what about schooling?
