nice rendering. it seems like the helmets are more completely shaded than the rest of the armor. more darks and lights where the rest has more of a middletone. the pose looks a bit ackward, more so if its supposed to be an action pose. the one of the left looks like he's not holding on to his sword very tight and they are looking in different directions.

all things aside the rendering itself is unbelievable...wow...there is a lot of control exhibited in this one...awesome work

jezzz..it looks like real metal..i like the one on the left..the position of the hands holding the sword for the right one seems alittle off.wonderfully shaded..i can never do something this 'finished' with pencils.
overall blows me away~~:)

Really nice rendrings and a good choice of references (at least for the armour - I suppose the references for the swords are from a cheap spain or indian producer ;))
Just some minor crits coming into my mind: the left armour (I think itīs the armour of the Grandduke of Tyrol in Vienna) the hands are a bit on the small side and the armpit seems a little high. And I would recommend looking with the maximilian armour at the reference you used for the back. The skirt (backloops) of the armour seems in the shadow unnatural high, like heīs wearing a metal cloak.
I would think about tweaking the contrast a little to get some more darks. I think this could support the otherwise really good rendering.
I could tell you about some minor flaws with the armours due to the construction but I suppose we donīt want to start a historical and hoplological discussion here :D.
Really good and patient work! Keep posting!

Hey, thanx everybody for critics!
it seems like the helmets are more completely shaded than the rest of the armor. more darks and lights where the rest has more of a middletone.
Yes, it looks like that... you know, on the original isnt so obvious, so I think that my cheap scanner also contributed to that "it is not finished yet" feeling.
the pose looks a bit ackward,
Yes, both looks like statues.
the one on the right have short arms
The smaller one?
People are always saying that the left one has small arms.
the position of the hands holding the sword for the right one seems alittle off.
Yes, some positions on this picture are lil off... basicly I started drawing at all a good year before I finished this picture, so Im still learning.
I suppose the references for the swords are from a cheap spain or indian producer
:), yes, its Spanish.
And its cheap.
I have them both on my wall. This two are more or less like real historical swords, on the other hand -> other spanish swords that I have are more like big fantasy daggers, so I couldnt use them.
I could tell you about some minor flaws with the armours due to the construction but I suppose we donīt want to start a historical and hoplological discussion here
I believe that there are flaws, cause I really dont know a lot about history armours. And I also didnt have all the references, so I just invented some stuff by myself.
thanx for advices
