very cool. I think i like the red one the most, how it's so streamlined.

The silhouettes and shapes works very well. Some of the blades are too huge for me though.

Thanks for the comments peoples. Well the way I worked on those weapons was just to come up with some interesting graphic silhouettes and then combine parts and pieces until I have a complete design that I was happy with. I came up with some stuff I would have never originally came up with by just trying to sketch in a linear manner.

This next post is a toy I started working on while I was interning at Hasbro 3 years ago as part of the Xevos line (ball and socket constructable figures). I never really got a chance to work on it, and show anything to my bosses since it was given to me the last few days of my internship to keep me sketching. So I finally decided to finish it and maybe add it to my portfolio...Its dont in a graphic style the toy industry likes to use alot. Its kind of a good style to use in order maximize usage of the image for packaging or cartoon art as well as to communicate a design.

I had a mock model I made from existing parts as well as a few rough sketches to start out with.

Finished up the Xevoz illustration for packaging/presentation. Kept the style and artwork consistant with that of the project www.hasbro.com/xevoz. Finally got a chance to finish that project and put it in my port now that all the Xevoz stuff has come and gone.

There was also a Xevoz game and figure carrying case. I came up with some concepts for it in the initial phases and worked out this design for my portfolio. Photoshop with Alias wireframe underlay.

Some craft thumbnails I scanned in and compiled.

My nephew wanted to sketch on the puter too. I scanned in his monster sketchbook and we cut up some parts of monsters in photoshop to make a new one. Then he colored it in photoshop. I love his sketches.

This is an image I was working on several months ago but never finished it. I need to go back and add some beat cars and some thugs...maybe a bum.

Just sketching some craft, robot, and technical stuff for a while. Still have some more swords to post but could not finish them up because my wacom pen broke and its incredibly hard to obtain one in any reasonable amount of time. I know ya'll have been there. Ne ways...10-15 sec marker sketches for silhouette, shape, simple form. Then I scan them in and do digital comps of some of the marker thumbs and go in with black line. Ill render some up later once I do 15000 more sketches.
