Very nice! I'm digging both the pencils and colors... the only thing that bothers me is the green smoky back ground. It's a little too soft and could use some definition. Otherwise, good work.

The green bottom is a fog, I found better not to define a lot for not removing the character's attention. But your observation is important.

Excellent rendition of the character, I really like your coloring style as well. :D The reds and variations of red bring the character to life. :) Working hand in hand with what he was protrayed as. :D

I had a kitten I called "Hellboy" because of his "Wammers" sadly he ran away. But cat's with extra toes, like mutants with big hands are pretty bad ass. :) click to see Hellboy the kitten (http://public.fotki.com/Serena-/03/cats/hellboy/2006-04-19-hellboy.html)

it looks o.k. the colors are more or less right, though the greens could be warmer.

but you seem to have some difficulties with the understanding of how
light & shade creates forms and shapes.
you just decided on a light source direction and put lighter colors on
closer parts to this "source". but surfaces and shapes are
very different from one another and get light in a differnet way and amount.
(for example - the horns. they`re round , flat , surfaces where hellboy cut `em. and your way of coloring them makes no sense...)

hope this`ll help:

keep on working, mate.

Well,
the hellboy draw by roger cruz is pretty cool! This guy is awesome!
The colors i think that the fog doesn't works good!

I think that the color shapes could be better like an Chuck, mate's exemple if you doesn't make the shapes the work looks like really flat...

The light sources and contrasts could be better! I don't know but i think that the only light source is the green light!

keep rocking...
