I recently purchaced a wacom graphire tablet and I'm not comfortable with it. Wow long does it take to get used to, or will it ever feel as natural as pencil and paper? At the moment I feel more comfortable drawing with a mouse.

You like a mouse more than a pen ? Hmmm you will not get the natural flow in your drawing by drawing with a mouse! I have been using the tablet+pen for about a year now. I still prefer to draw pencil on paper, scan it then colour. Trying to draw something from scratch in photoshop feels really unatural to me as well.
I guess it's just like with any medium, if you put the hours into it, you will get your rewards.

Practice drawing lines and circles. Make a big circle, then draw increasingly smaller concentric ones.
It'll feel more natural in no time.

Got mine last week. Took me three or four days but it feels very natural here, though I am by no means a good artist ><

Thanks. I just finished a lay in on my compliamentary copy of painter essentials. The pen feels a little better allready. I will take your advice it all sounds pretty logical.

I've had mine for over a year. It still doesn't feel like a pencil to me.
