Need critiques on new sketch and painting

Hello everyone. This is a new drawing I sketched and now I'm working on coloring. It's two of my characters that I designed in my gaming class.

I mostly having trouble with my lighting, getting the highlights and shadows correct so that it doesn't look so flat.

Any C&C would be most appreciated.

Hey! This one looks really cool..
In fact I dont like anime in general exept when its
really well done, or fit what I like, however this
one could need some work, but I still like it, Exept the
hair on the girl to the left. That is the hair
you should have when falling from
a 150 feet house :)

I agree with Dile, that hair is out of whack. The legs of the girl are a bit short, and what is that guy leaning on?

alrighty fix the hair, the guy is supposed to be sort of crouching, not really leaning on anything :P

Any advice on the coloring?
