"Welcome...to Con Air."

j/k - anyways, wanted to let you know that these are still inspiring in a way I didn't think they could be after a whole year's worth. They have accreted value as a whole, and each individual picture has its own meaning and story as well - it's a healthy reminder for those of us who wax lazy over the summer that even the best of us are there at the grindstone, and that that's how they got there in the first place. To see you blaze on ahead with barely a halt has its own message too...can't wait to see where punk rock Jones takes us this year :) thank you!!

gotta love that block-in.
At this point of your daily kung-fu, do you still need ( or stick, purposely ) to the old mirror to work from, or are you sometimes working from your own inner image? not sure I'm making sense here - cheers.

Awesome man...that's awesome you have a mohawk...it definitely is WAY too hot in the summer in Texas to have long hair. I can't believe your still going with portraits hahha...amazing.

Kevin llewellyn actualy shaved me my first mohawk years ago, every time i resurect it I think of him,

adam, every day is a new day, and i just take one day at a time, if I set out to make 365 portraits it probably would have suffocated on its own expectations, time goes by so fast i almost lost track of the anneversary, i dont have anyexpectations of how long i will continue this, Im sure the universle will let me know when to stop

Beet- thanks, well i primarily use a mirror, Im always searching for new ones, I guess whether i like it or not I am always using my inner image, sometimes i embrace the inner image and use it as a primary source to see what my natural inclinations are, sometimes when I want a more accurate portrait i use the mirror and try to abandon the inner image, both are great resources , the one thing i try to aviod as much as possible are photographs. because they are a stale past version of me and dont take into account the change i go through

MCM i think i was hining behind my hair too much, this haircut makes me take a harder look at the shape of my skull and my ears, it forces me to look harder at myself, and besides its funn as hell to paint the mohawk.
