All right, folks, here's the deal: I realize I'm a pretty fair artist already, but I'm not nearly as good as I want to be. I find it difficult to complete a lot of my work, let alone stay focused on it. I'm not sure where I got lost, but hopefully you fine folks can help me find my way back.

What I'd like to have is specific assignments assigned to me, and I'll report back here when they're done. I'm not opposed to deadlines. Do with me what you will.

I would like to identify some areas I generally feel weak on that I'd like to specifically improve, though:

Noses
Full-body drawings
Architectural drawing
Expression
Mental recall
Creativity

But again, do with me what you will. Like I said, I'm submitting to 1 month. If I'm better off after 1 month, I may submit to more time.

I'm including a few samples of my finer work so you all have a clue of where I am. However, let's assume I know nothing and that I'm starting over again. I'm submitting myself to be a guinea pig artist, doing only what I'm told to do.

And for review otherwise, there are some more pieces here: http://jackinbox.deviantart.com/gallery/

What I have available as tools that I use for drawing:

Drawing tablet
Photoshop CS2
OpenCanvas
Painter Classic
Pencil/pen & paper

Thanks folks. Let me know if there's anything else I should add.

I would like to see a sketch, pencil and paper, of you as a guinea pig. Your face, and expression (I'm imagining bemused resignation, but it's up to you :P), but guinea-pigged. There's some creativity and expression for you :) I'll give you a week, I don't know how much time you have, but I think that would be cute. I love your John Lennon by the way.

All right, I'm doing this in sequence. Madfishmonger and the_allej first, day 1 and day 2, respectively.

I'll start tomorrow.
