Here's the fixed version, thanks to your feedback:

. arm has been reworked (with references)
. glow has been lessen a bit
. text has been better integrated
. some hue/saturation have been changed

It's called Yodalisque because:

1) Odalisque :
Function: noun
Etymology: French, from Turkish odalik, from oda room
Date: circa 1681
1 : a female slave
2 : a concubine in a harem

and 2) Yoda

Put them together, and you got...yup.

the light source is to bright. it draws the focus away from the character. apart from that, it's a wonderful painting, really cool.

i would filter the typography so that it blends with the wall behind. it does not seem to be painted on it.. it sticks out too much.

try changing the alpha value and perhaps rubbing out with some dirty-like brushes... in a similar way to the typo on the upper right corner .

El Chief: I'm gonna play a bit with the lightsource to see what I can do. I based the halo/lightsource on stills from the movies where they're really using pure white in the middle.

I'll most likely get shit for replying but: I know! I tried it once, it looks super cool. If you have a plain one you can just put an intense flashlight at it's base and look at it. *waves around her glowing glass......thing........x.x hides* Looks frosty when you do it after it's been in the freezer, of course, it is fun explaining what the oddly shaped icecube is to your parents. XD!!!!

If I recall right then there is a part in the copyright about fanart and how people who do fanart cant be sued. and sicne you wont make money out of this its fanart... and unless I've recalled right you're in the safe boat ;)
