Like a cat I get easily distracted by sounds and images. Especially by the image of a dangly thing, I just love dangly things.
In the top right of the picture there's a dangly thing, bottom right there's another building. There's this magnificent gold spire basically being ruined from this angle by a red building and a dangly thing.

I understand changing the angle might have been unavoidable, but this is more of a tourist photo than a 'capturing the spire' photo.

I do like the spire though. I hope you enjoyed Thailand and do you have any other pictures you can share with us?

Ohmygod, Ohmygod!!! Rhynome is back!!!! :D Wheeee! Where have you been alll this time?

As for the pic: The spire is basically a great composotion to begin with. Thailand is full'o'great copositions, all exotic and east-spiritead. Aaaaanyways, first thing that strikes is the fact that teh photo is very crowded. There are a lot of things going on arround. Maybe you should have tried another croping.

The colors are really, really good, i like them. I want to see more stuff from Thailand. :bashfull:

Thanks folks! I guess I have to agree with you about the stuffed pic. I wasn`t much of a photographer when I last visited Thailand about 3 years ago. Actually the original pic was even more confusing than this. I tried to improve this by cropping and coloring. I think this version is better than the original..

I`ll gladly put some more pics from Thailand if you people want to see them. I have to select "the best ones" and edit them first...

Btw, I`m filming a documentary about Japan (Tokyo and Yaeyama islands), Taiwan and Indonesia (propably small eastern indonesian islands and Sulawesi). It should be ready next January. I`ll do the filming, editing and the songs myself. It will be filmed with a high definition videocamera... I`ll put the trailer here when the trip is over (December-January).

What language will the documentary be in? Are we talking about one of those Finnish/Swedish pieces with subtitles or are you filming for an English speaking documentary?

What sort of things does the documentary cover, is it focusing on anything in specific or is it just 'The State of the East'?

Considering how much of your photography looks I'll be looking forwards to the film, I expect it to have a few interesting shots at least.

Le Gab, I've not really had a chance to participate in the forums for a few weeks basically. I remember you were about to go into doing Macro shots a bit more. I haven't had time to check yet, but I will get around to checking out that thread a bit more (if it didn't die out too early on). If you didn't go into doing Macros, then naughty Le Gab, naughty.
