my wacom nib is broken so my pressure sensitivity isn't as good as it should be, making it hard to do any "details" that aren't formed with lines, so don't rip me apart on those issues.
oh, and these are about 30min each with no reference.

These are nice...for the drawn heads, the shading is quite nice, and your style is looking good =)
But, I must suggest that you use at least some basic references for your portraits, unless youve been doing that and your now trying to get practice drawing from your mind. If its the latter, then simply keep up the good work, and wait for a suggestion from someone more experienced than I ;).

not too bad at all..:)kinda like the 1st piece..infact..i like it with the excercution of the strokes

amphex: i may be vain, but i don't believe i need reference for everything i do anymore, so i perfer to just jump into painter8 and have fun; thanks for your opinion though.
