Anyone else here use photobucket? Is there a way to stop it from resizing images so frickin small? I upload a 836x1159 picture and it resizes it to 209x290. Cant even see the damn thing.

Its wierd too cuz I uploaded another picture and it didnt resize it at all, it was so big that it went off the screen.

Could anyone recommend a better filehost?

photobucket will resize if the file is too big. In photoshop, set your view to 100% and resize the image (Image>image size) to about 3-6cm height (assuming your files are 300 dpi) so that you will get the size you want people to view it at onscreen.

Then File>save for web as a jpeg at 60 compression. This will dramatically alter your file size so that photobucket will leave your image alone.

hope that helps mate :)

check out the options when logged in, (upper right corner) there you can change the size-limit up to 1mb. Not completely sure if its possible for new nembers... but it should be.
