That is very nice. I like the exxtreme contrast with the reds and green. Sets a very interesting feeling or mood to it.

Good work.

Very cool. Nice colour scheme you chose. I love the way you rendered the guy's head. Good work.

aaah oui, tres cool. J'aime aussi. I'm thinking the top right area needs something. Something subtle, not to take the focus away from the middle.

I would take that shadow on the bottom right (the darker red) and apply some of it on the top left, to see what it does. Sort of a mirror of that shadow, but with its opacity down. I might look cool and non-intrusive.

Bon boulot! Mr. Betrave (hehe, beet in english)

btw, joli ton site! j'aime beaucoup tes peintures.

Great work!
i really think you could be pushing the highlights on this figure also maybe pushing the contrast as well as overall value; The red you are using seems "dirty" to me

[edit: self]
i took it into painter8 and played around with someone of tonal controls and i made the value darker and the saturation higher and it come up with a cool deep purple/blood red feel and another thing i did was just do the correct colors> curve > autoset feature which made the figure a ton whiter and the color a more saturated purple.

Hopefully you don't find my points too opinionated. as it is it's amazing. I just thought a few things could be improved.

much respect

monsieur sparth: thanksalot :)
davi: might be right about the colors . I sure know my palette is often said to be lacking contrast, but that's mostly how it comes to me. I've produced a few roting potatoes trying to force my colors in a more inyourface direction ... I will keep trying, though. this image was done for a client, I had to kill it quick, no choice but to use a system that I know exactly how to do, within these limits. thanks for the feedback.
foster: ah! yeah i went artsyfartsy, did I ... works with Jazz :) thanks.

beet : Very cool ! There's just perhaps the omnipresence of the magenta in your piece. I would've loved to have this on my wall if it'd been a bit more on the blood red side of things, but that's just personal taste :)
Again, nice !
