Very nice, carotello.

Here's my first DSG. I could definitely stand to hash out some of the concepts some more, but I've already stayed up until 3 working on this. Need... sleep..

carotello - What a wonderfull picture. It has a certain serenity to it and a very nice palette.

Ryn - Beutiful and simple. great picture. one thing though, does not her front leg and foot look twisted in a wierd angle? Or is it just me.

dakobah20 - I like the way you played with color in this one. The flames are also kinda nice. The perspective is a bit off though (if it wasn't intentional). You should try using guide-lines. Also the scale of the figures is something to consider.

Lingmerth - i dont know if you can see the vanishing line but that was the perspective i was going for, a diagnal view. i also used a one point perspective, and my perspective drawing is not all that good. i use Open Canvas so i can find a ruler to use, i had to eye it to see if it was measured right. i kinda saw that they were scaled a little bigger then the buildings but wasnt sure, now i know. so i edited my picture in my original post. thanks for the comment i appreciate it comming from this advanced community. i look forward to your take on this.

carotello - very nice, i like the color tones used on this, they really compliment each other on this, and its a very nice perspective. good job.

Ryn - im a little confused by your picture, the picture is nice but what does it have to do with Jet-Packers Flying among Art-Deco Building Tops? it probably may i just need a little story on your pic. good job.

dakobah20 I hope this helps, please ask if you have any questions.

I had to do it in MS paint, because im at work, but I hope you get the idea.
Heh, oops it says "larged" when it's suposed to say large, oh well, nobodys perfect.

I'm not super fond of my result..mainly because I didn't have the patience to make windows on the building. Then my fog wasn't working so I just deleted the damm layer. anywho, I love these DSG's so I'm glad another one came out :)

I was thinking jetpackers serving drinks among buildings, like a futuristic food catering service. But I was too tired to get the point across, I guess. Oh well.

Nothing fancy, just a quicky. It got smudged when I took it home to scan it from work, but oh well, what you gonna do right ;)

They may call themselves the bronze knights, but there is nothing chivalrious in this band of high octane hoodlums. Just a gang of rebelling rich kids, making minor crimes.

Vulgar` - So you can feel it to, thank god, I thought I was going crazy :P, Thanks

Tabasko - I like the colors there very cheerful, kind of what I needed right now. It also has a certain arcade-game feel to it.

klys - Interesting p.o.v. Could use more clearly market outlines. Don't know if it's suposed to be blackned because of the heat or something, but I think it would look better if you colored the opposite side of the jet pack, so It look like the jetpack was highlighted from the exaust flame. Also the exaust and jet-pack look a bit flat.

i'm sorry, but you can do an awful lot with just a pencil. you dont need photoshop or painter to do awesome works of art.

90% of my sketches are "only "pencil don't knock it
it works
except for the smudgy part
and there's adifference between a "sketch" and a finished "awesome work of art"
the former are , in my experience, don e in pencil
the later can be, but seldom are
IMO... make a note..this ids rhw DSketchG
I think it's more about the concept that the finish work

you can't link to deviant...doesn't work. (Im guessing that may be what you did). you need imageshack or photobucket.
or some such
