Greetings all!

I am basically new here, and I’m looking forward to becoming a more active member. Below I have added a few of my works. I hope to hear comments from everyone, both positive and negative.

My goal as an artist is to attain a position in the entertainment industry. I hope to use this thread to see my own work improve over time, and as a source for learning, expanding, and making a few connections. Thanks in advance for your time, and input. Any questions can be sent to me via p.m, or e-mail at cweller60@yahoo.com

welcome! I would recomend starting to study anatomy and such, try doing regular observational drawings as it will directly influence what you can pull from your imagination. I like the crazy fungus thing btw :D

Thanks for the comments so far, and thanks for the welcome!

Dile: Thanks for taking the time to check out my work. I looked at your sketchbook, I like it! You have made a lot of progression from page on to current. Keep it up!

Spade: Thanks for the advice! i do actually do a lot of observational drawings, but not nearly enough. Maybe I will start posting some of them. I like the idea about doing anatomy, you can expect to see some studies next week when I update.

Interesting monster. I'm curious to know why you scribbled over the concept? I think it takes away from it with lines going everywhere. Keep working hard.

I really like that right foot! i dunno why it just kinda has a sense of movement that the rest of your pieces lack somewhat.

From what I can see, and I may be wrong, is that when you are drawing anatomy you dont seem to block in the basic shapes before you start adding details. This helps immensely when trying to get correct proportions.

Also wondering why you scribbled over the monster too?

Cool stuff... keep postin'

I like the plant thing. Indeed you should shape up your figures by studying anatomy. The left hand is looking good - now the rest of the body.

I have been busy doing ALOT of drawing. I had a great opportunity over the weekend to go to a "draw-a-thon" it was amazing. 8 hours of figure studies! Obviously I’m not going to post everything, but below are a few examples. I have also been working on studying various animal anatomy. Thanks for watching everyone!
