Hi!

Could anyone gives me some advice on colouring this piece??? At this stage, it's just a coloured sketch... But in final stage, i'd like to make more realistic pic. Any suggestions???

Thnx!

Hey Ninja_ASSN,

I'm new on the forum and I looked at your drawing and fell in love with the design. You wanted some input on it regarding rendering it. I'm not great with criticisms so I colored it myself, I thought it would be fun. This is what I did last night, I spent 2 hours. I hope you like it.

I think solrac perfectly showed what I'm about to say: density, density, density! Volume, volume, volume!

The open exposed paper on the guy's stomach in your original just makes it feel too diffuse and unfinished. Even if it's as white as a sturgeon's belly, it's gotta have some slight gray, blue, green, something...

The design is pretty damn funny. I know people who'd do that for a promotion. ;)

My pleasure. Thanks to your original drawing, I feel inspired. If you have any more cool drawings you want rendered, post them up. I would love to get a shot at rendering them. Cya!
