Here's a quickie. I was just gonna try out the brushes in photoshop (haven't really botherd before now) at the same time as I wanted to do something really fucked up (kinda like how I feel nowdays).

So I just threw something together. The sketch was awful. In the end I just stuck with it and finished it. Tell me what you think.

I don't think I will revisit it since it was such a quick thing. If you don't convince me, that is. ;)

Damn, finishing this damn stupid "everything-is-art" artschool has a funny way of making me more creative and making me to actually want to draw. Something I haven't felt for 3 years! It's heaven.

Ok, I'll stop ranting, the picture:

Cool

I love the textures in the face.

This piece reminded me of an Australian fine artist called Brett Whitely. You might be interested in checking out his work.

Keep 'em coming.

Thank you! :)
I never heard anything about this Brett Whitely. Do you have a url where I can look at his work? :chug:

Here's a link to Brett's art. The baboon with the needles on the bottom left was the painting I thought of when I saw your piece.

He's one of Australia's most well respected (deceased. from a drug overdose) artists.

Backtrack from the link to see some of his other work.

This is nice. The textures in the face look really good.

I love this piece! Strangely, it reminds ME of Ian Miller's work. He is sort of a little-known British guy who did a lot of work for Games Workshop back in the day.
