G'day dudes im doing my brothers Wow character for a birthday present for him, im in the early stages atm, give me your thoughts.

kind of rough to crit yet but it looks like its going in the right direction. id say use a wee bit more blue for the sky, otherwise nice colors!

sine all the wow artwork is very comicish
you maybe want to try clearer outlines and a bit of cellshading style

Awesome! I made drawings of all my friends' WoW characters for christmas when WoW came out. Nice present.

It doesn't feel like a tauren yet, so you should probably get more of that hump in his back like the tauren concept art you find online. Right now it just looks like a human with a bull head, and that's just not exciting. Also, I liked the colors in the older version more than the newer version. Pure color everywhere is tough to pull off. I leave that to companies like capcom.

Before any of that, though, rethink your composition a bit. There's no flow to it, and the figure doesn't pop out any. There's also very little spatial overlap involved. his skull club would be way cooler if it didn't blend in with the tree or totem behind it. Just a few things to think about. Good luck! He'll love it!

one complaint... you have shaman shoulder armor but the rest looks like cloth armor. no shaman in his right mind would ever wear cloth. ;) (ok, unless leeroy rolled a shaman)
