its just a commercial idea. my work is far more complex than this sketch. this is the minimum i would ever show.

Not only does it say "save the whales". the blue fish like creatures with long ribbon like tails represent "Hope". there is obviously hope in saving these creatures and how much they mean to us on the planet. also. it encourages "thrivement?". - see i told u its minimum. if it were complex i would be over 10 paragraphs right now!

oh boy i mean i respect everyones thread , but u just made me laugh. first of all u could read the sketchbook rules up there.
thsi is the minimum u would ever show?? donīt u want to get better? or did i understood this wrong.
lol the ribbon ones represent hope??? i thought they swimm away and are scared as hell , really! if you want make complex things , then write a book, because this didnīt touched me in the slightest way. donīt get me wrong i just tell u the truth of my opinion , and donīt think iīm mad , i would really like to help artists grow. but if u would put out the words(letters) who help describing this, why should me then look at this picture if i know everything. u should let space for peoples own interpretation and if they reply to your thread, with words like "hope" and "Thrive" like they feel it in there , tehn u could be sure u did your job right. sorry if i sound rude , iīve learned english by myself. so please post more and stop bumping;)

Read the guidlines, no bumping is allowed. Either post some of your stuff or dont post at all.

If you don't know what a bump is, here is an example:

Please Comment :)

Concgrats about your SB, is not suppose to give any fruits yet, you have to keep feeding it and maybe someone will notice it and post a comment.

Rules are clear, you are not suppose to reply anything unless you reply it along with a new sketch.

Good luck.

don´t make so much excuses, just make it rigth next time. SB is a sketchbook, definitly not this what came out of this thread, i would give you an offer, to start a new "SB" without all this nonsense replies here. if u got questions about something , post it to the Lounge forums . so keep your sketchbook clean, only feed it with updates of your work. and by the way how old r u?
PS: i would took the time seriously u could sure had a new sketch to show 4 me...but ..yeah. i guess you new . here . also if you start a sketchbook, post something about u. age. why u draw. which artists u like for example;)

gimme a hug!!!!

An SB is the sketchbook you just created. Take a look at the sketchbook rules at the top of the sketchbook forum and cruise other peoples SB's for an idea of how things work. The main idea is to post as often as possible so poeple get a feeling for your skill range and can help steer you to overcome any weaknesses. With just one sketch it's a little difficult to give advise on how to improve. Did you do mulitple thumbnails for this "save the whales" idea? It would be good to post that too so people can comment on other directions you might take in your compostion.

As it is, the composition is a little unbalanced, with a lot of blank space in the bottom left. If you intentionally leave dead space for text/content, then let us know so we don't harrass you about it. I also think that it would feel better if the entire whale was in frame. Right now it seems kind of secondary to your fish. What style are you going for in the final render?

That's about all I can comment on based on this one sketch. Don't let critisism scare you away here, this forum and it's comments are very helpful in choosing which direction to take your talent. Keep posting!

You have 7 posts and only one of them has a sketch. It's been stated numerous times to you that this is against the rules of this section of the forum, and this attention attitude is wearing on all of the members. Post responses to other member's posts ONLY when it accompanies a new sketch. How many times do you have to be told to get with it?

also i think u have a new record here, get so many replies with one sketch.

!RESPECT!

I swear to god. Stop posting random threads, learn how the search function works, and for the love of... anything. Stop bumping your own threads, that aint cool! If you don't pull your act together we will totally ban your ass outright.
