The Hand photo looks like it coulda had some potential..
Like Ivy said, focus is a key problem with your photos.
Second, type in the words: "composition" , "photography" & "tutorial" in any search engine, read up some stuff on how - to - do - it
Good luck!

I dont think your composition is that bad - especially if you havent been taught how to compose things.
The main things i like to consider in composition are:
depth of perception (i.e. part in focus and part out of focus - usually foreground in focus and background out of focus, but thats not the only way. Mulitple levels can be used)
rule of thirds (trying to keep the major subject out of the centre essentially and near or on one of the main intersecting lines that divides the photo into a 3x3 box. Elements can still be in the centre but the focus should be drawn away from there to keep it ineresting to the eye.)
A lot of these images appear to be in low light - either that or your cameras focusing abilities are broken - or you have a very unsteady hand - or a combination of the above (p.s. i dont think your camera is broken)
Overall nice for a 'noob' heh
try adding a border to your photos - i find them much nicer to look at then and they just feel more proffesional with a border (even if they arent the best shots)

I'm not sure about what camera you have, but I'll throw this out there: press the button down half-way, wait for focus, then push down all the way. Try that.

Thx a lot for the comments.
About the focus, I just thought that
in some case in could look interesting.
When I did those it was pretty late,
my room was almost only lightened by this
one lamp.
I use a Canon 500D with a Canon ultrasonic.
