What's the indentation behind his eye for? It's in the concept too i noticed.

Thanks for the reply Erik. Well as you can see on this new one that indent is gone. It was supposed to be a hole in his skin where you can see his insides... but it wasn't reading and it didn't really serve a purpose. So I took it out.
I tried to add some more contrast on this one...
