Hey there, I'm trying to work on a character (taking him into color) but I'm having difficulty trying to find some reference on reflection and shinny textures of the like. For clarification it is suppose to be a squid like creature similar to the Illithid but to show you my version look below. If anyone could point me to some tutorials that would be awesome (also I have searched through the forums but nothing has helped). Also if there are any crits. on the lines feel free, they are always appreciated.

do u use photoshop??

if yeah than gime a line or something i have 2 i think

Well I'm having a bit of trouble with this whole thing, I'm still having trouble with the highlights (I can't find any notes on how these reflection things apear). Basically here is what I have so far, any motivation/suggestion/crit are always welcomed. Thanks.

Try looking for refs of octopi.
