I want to colour this girl digitally, because I really have to practise that. I made her and am quite statisfied, but I feel like she isn't right yet.
Is the chin too round? is the left eye too low? Is the angle of the ear right? To me they seem to be right (except for the chin), but are they really?
I messed arround with the nose a lot, but that seems to be right now :) (right?)
Ok, here she is.
You guys could really help me to get the errors out before I start colouring, so I can fix that on time :) Thanks in advance!

Well it depends on what you're trying to achive. Do you want a photo-realistic picture or something a bit cartoony?
If you're going for realism, then (as far as i know having never see a photograph of the girl) her eyes are a little too big.
Other than that it looks like a good starting point. Looking forward to see what you can do with it!

Thnx! I want to go for a semi-realistic-look. I had already made the eyes smaller; guess I really have to make them 'too small' in my head :P
Thnx for the comments!

I made a copy of the lineart on markerpaper and used that as the base of the pic.
I coloured the face, using a tutorial (:http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/24892300/) and will colour the hair with it too. I just added the basic colours I want to use in step 2. The ear still looks like crap and the lips too.
What do you guys think of it so far?
Step 1 and 2:

Step 2 big (the size I'm painting it):

Yeah I know the anatomy isn't right, but I want to colour it anyway and go on with something else :).
Thnx for the link, it's very usefull!
It's funny that you tell me to use harder brushes, because I thought they were really hard and made them a lot softer, to get the effect the tutorial has. My hard brushes made it look really flat.
Do you loose the flat effect, when you use the harder brushes, by adding more different tones and colours? because maybe that was what made it flat?

Gess so.. but what really work for me when trying to do something that pop out, is to had shadows, high light and contrast. I was alway told that shadow were the perfect tools of making shape. I think that you could also use more constrast because are your color seem bit too soft. for what is of harder brush i gess that would help but i don't know i alway use corel airbrush.
Good luck and keep at it ;p
