Send IM?

I just noticed the "Send IM" buttons under some peoples avatars, which I guess must be fairly new (I'm not generally that oblivious). I guess this mean the people are currently signed on and you can chat it up with them? Anybody used it yet?

I get: "sorry, that user is offline" everytime :(. ( of cource I´m trying it with online users..in case you would guess otherwise)

But it will be a really nice function to have :).

Just realized that users with less than 150 posts can´t use IM, I say good call, otherwise spam would be even more annoying :).

I used it with cartoonfox and guggernmaneuver. It was pretty cool actually. it's a nice simple design.

running some tests....will make more progress as the next couple weeks go on. we still have a ton of bugs to fix from updating to the latest vbull and community software as well. We are working on it daily.

haha yeah I clicked on it and the screen froze. Looks like a couple more bugs to fix eh? It will be cool when it's done though.

When this was initially announced i thought an IM window would be implemented in each thread, so users in that thread could chat about the things inside and not as much stupid stuff would have to be posted :teeth:
It would definitely be distracting though. So it's probably best the way it is. Very nice function to have.
