Hello to everyone!
I have posted two recent pictures in this forum waiting some critics.
Well, after Krayz gave to me very good advice and recomendations I decided to put here my pictures.
I was very afraid in the begining because my english isn't good at all, and the level in this forum is very, very high. But the reason because I want to show you my works it is very simple: I am working in a videogames company, like a 2D artist, doing textures and some concept art, since one year and a half. I all this time I think I lost a lot of my skills of drawing... Well, I don't know, I feel now I little lost in my artistic production :(
Anyaway I would like to read everything you think about the draws, I need to decide now in what I going to work when I finish in this company in July.

1. These are two character from a videogame project. Them are 1 year old, and finally the porject was cancel and the company because the company broke.

2.This is the scene of a story I did the firts month I arrived to England.

3.This series are more new. All teh draws are from the same story, and the same characters. I am not very happy with them but, the true, I was always drawing directly in the paper. I didn't any previous skecht of the idea. I didn't looked for any information ( tha I needed, of course, I am very lazy:D )

4. The last one. I think you nkow this dra because I posted the first day I started here. It is from oder story, and them are the main character ( I know, I know, the arm looks bad, I will fixed;) )

I'll be honest. I didn't think you could draw that well when I seen the face of that demon dude in the other thread. Well.. you've proved me wrong there! pfff and here's me been giving you advice. How about giving me some? :P

Anyways... personally, I'd stick with the style of Jessica.jpg (the black and white drawing of the female - rocks!). The colouring of the 3 females is nice too. Well.. they're all nice but those seem to stick out to me.

I can see your style changing throughout them all. I'm the same. One day I'll feel in a cartoony mood, next day I'll wanna do a realistic pic. I think I have it worse though. I have to draw sprites most of the day too.

Welp, I'll cut short before I ramble again.. Look forward to seeing more in that cartoony stlye.

I didn't post these before because I was very afraid of all the peopleo here, you are so great!!!!

With the face of the Demon I was traying something diferent, more in the way tha you have free all you feelings, that you have inside like something wild (I was very stressed at work:p )

1. I am very bored in the work now, and I am painting a lot of the things I have in my mind :p. Here it is Sarah, Jonathans wife and a demon as well. I am think that the paint need somethin more work in it but I don't not what I have to do :rolleyes: . Some critics?

These are very cool. I'm surprised hardly anyone else is replying.

You coloured that female up really well (the line drawing that I liked from before). The rest are just as sweet.

You should do an up to date pic. You'll find you haven't lost as much ability as you think.

I am painting now the Jonathna face like the Sarah's one, whe I finish I will post here.

Now I trying to do more ilustration than only character design. I think I need now put all my character into a world :p, and do more design for buildings, lanscape and all that stuff, what do you think?

It's not about what I think. It's about what you'd like to do. Sure, a landscape would look nice behind that female character. If I were you though, I'd just start a new pic. Reworking old pics can suck. For a start you wouldn't be learning as much.

Post them in a new thread though. This one is taking ages to load as it is ;]

I love this character with the silver hair :D, as well. I think he is so cool, but no because I had painted it, not, that it is no te reason, is becuause is the main character from a friend's story and is very fun.:( . He name is Jonathan, and is like a demon :p

I'm with the others, this stuff is great.
The main character's full body shot and his little sister in black and white really stand out as pieces where the character feels just right. The guy has a bit of the "Sabretooth from X-Men Evolution" look about him, which, in my opinion is a good thing, and the girl looks as though she comes from a sketchbook from the various "Batman Animated" series. You've really nailed a good style with these two.

I´m as shy as you, (specially when I must speak english), but the ice is broken now ;)

I really understand you, because I´ve been working on videogames for three years now. One of the companies I worked for broke a year ago, and now I´m working in a new project. We are currently texturizing all the game, and this gives you a lot of experience about Photoshop effects, but makes you lost a bit of drawing skills.

Your work is good, with a personal anime style. I like your costume designs. Keep on working, because each work is better than the last.

I have a lot of doubts about my own skills, as you, but we must keep working and learning.

Yes, I understand you. Well, I am working in videogames only one year an a half. I would like be conecpt artist for the design of the characters :( and all that suff in the videogames industry, but I think is going to be impossible for me.
Well, I think the doubts about our skills are something natural if you ar an artist. At the moment that you have any doubt about yourself, any more, or you are a genius (something almost impossible), or you can't improve nothing more.
