For some reason, I was ready to see some guy holding several bees.

The warm and cool are nice (though a little too even in their amounts), but the edges seem to be out of control. You've got hard and soft edges all over the place with little rhyme or reason.

Yes, the edges. well thanks for the response. Im going to see what happens now with a bit of reference.

I am not sure if this is intentional or not, but the head is leaning one way and the eye is leaning the other. I also think that higher contrast on the beholder will pop him out of the background a bit better.
