ok here is what im looking for...any crits/comments on my coloring job on this pic...im trying out some custom brushes...so yeah...enjoy

Don't however like teh scale of the gun. It's not right.

I love the fact that the dude has an assault rifle but still seems to have killed someone with a shovel.
The coloring is ok, but the textures are a bit uniform. You've got some variation, but I'd say keep pushing it.
(Not coloring related, but it seems like if he's mid-step, the shovel shoulder would be BEHIND his hips)
Oh, and while the scale of the gun is a bit tweaked, what bothers me more is how flat the steel tube stock looks. That needs some volume in a bad way.
The post-apocalyptic vibe is cool, though. License plate mail..? :D

i agree about the stock (not round enough, varying widths make it LOOK drawn on), but if you exaggerate the perspective of the shovel it will look fine where it is - you can tell by the rounded cusp above the blade that it is actually pointed toward us, but since there's no foreshortening, it makes it a little hard to tell...I think he's awesome otherwise - I love the WWII fighter ace cap, those are the coolest ;)
