Metal man.. needs better name

he isnt metal himself but the reason he is called metal man( a poorly thought out name) is because his blood is liquid metal. those circular things all over him are blood flow enhancers. and that weird thing on his wrist is a metal hardener which will harden the liquid metal to a spike form shooting out of his wrist with great velocity.. heh heh

Honestly, I think this should be in the sketches/doodles forum. This is also probably why you haven't received many critiques and/or comments. It's also probably not a good idea to reply to your own thread asking for comments..it's just common forum etiquette.

Please don't take offense or anything, because that's not my intention. I'm just giving you a heads-up and hopefully if more people use the forums properly, it would help conceptart.org a lot in the long run.

Anyhow, about your piece; I can only recommend some more practice with anatomy and some of the other basics. Your ideas, however, are somewhat promising, so it'd be good to see you make some improvements with the fundamentals.

Metal? The shading just doesn't give the impression it's made of metal.

Ahhh misread.

The veins still wouldn't look like that. You wouldn't really be able to tell what kind of blood he had without some colour or if some blood had poured out.

Try to work on what i've said in your other thread, and you over did the serratus... I'm talking about he hills you drew under his right arm. Next time maybe try to get your rough sketch ready, when you know the anatomy is right then you could go ahead and shade it in or what ever, because this seems like you took a lot of time doing the details and what not but you didn't change the things that were pointed out the first time and went on and shaded it... then reposted it.

well thats because it was for a like battle pic on this other forum.. and it had to be done fast.. lol and like when i posted the other pic i was almost done with the shading.. thats why i didnt really change much of anyrthing ha..bbut i will keep ur advice in mind next time im drawing a dude thanlks

What I meant was it looks like you gave sharp edges to his veins to show his blood was liquid metal. Hence why I said the veins wouldn't look like that ;]

If you want good references for veins, look for any bodybuilder pics where they're really tensed up.
