Well i realy like the bacround! colours are real nice to. the front is a bit blurry for my taste though.. try using the sample tool a bit more (to blend the colours a bit and get some more shapes in the forms) (:
good work(:

As the S.S.S. Helvetica races towards a the source of a Crev'v'tsian S.O.S, the mechanics are hard at work modifing one of the hibernation nooks to accomodate the Crev'v'tsian pilot, used to an atmosphere of liquid Methane.
painter, hour I guess

Aga - Heh, sexy pose that blue one got ;)
Nice angle, did you try to use perspective guide-lines?

Lingmerth - No, in fact, I didn't. I don't remember this all things about perspective and don't remember how to draw this guide-lines as well. I will see some perspective tutorial soon, and than will be able to draw this lines.
I know I should do this before:bashful:

i like
machzero
and Mr-Joe's
both of you.. you should have kep refining these.
they have grat potential i think
machzero has very cool shapes.. and i like the whites in there top constrast/interest he image.. very cool
mr joe has a very potential layout.. its in very early stages though.. you should really work this out more.. kill what you dont like anymore and fix the problems you have with it.. i really like where you went with that one.. dont let the mess scare you away.. instead use those lines to see things in ehm..
that big mess on the backwall for example looks like very cool platings and cables and bolts and lights and fans and whatevers to me..
you started to think with lines and that is exactly what you should do.. but you stopped to soon. id love to see you continue on that one.
surfacemonkey
very funny idea... now make it work! :). i dont like your nooks to much. ther are to static for me. do what Mr-Joe did.. just ad lines and shades where you think od things.. cable there.. bolt here.. be loose with those. think with lines and shapes.. dont try to get them perfect at the first go.. you need to put and idea down.. not a photograph... hope you knowwhat i mean and agree.
Aga
looks too much like theme hospital to me.. no movement in there.. very orthographic.. needs more perspective/action
Hamsta - cant see wat this is really.. more contrast and define shapes a bit more
voxelfog - you can do better man.. free up!
Jofx - cool idea!.. you were scared though.. dont be... the pic is a bit empty i think.. the flowers on the bottom make no sense.. they are floating in the air
and the glass thingy looks to boring to me.. break out of those primitive shapes.. be random and loose. ahmster/rat thing looks very cool and i feel movement which is very cool :)
well.. ill try to make one for this subject this weekend.. cause i never really do these things.. and they are a great way to get my mind of screaming heads all the time :D
i think its sad that there are very little 'uber skilled' people in here to teach us all how things get done :(

wi_2, Thanks for the crit! I definately agree with you, that my style is currently too static. I will try throwing down lines first on my future dsg's.

wi_2- puting action to drawings is what I'm trying to achieve
and thouse sentences, which you wrote to surfacemonkey, it's also important for me, because in many of my drawings this problem exist. I will try to remember your tips. Thank you.
