Space zombie pirate

Hi guys,
Been very busy last 2 days (playing Devil May Cry 2 on the PS2- little disappointed, first one was better, but anyhoo ...)
Here is the new one I made tonight; it would be really nice if you can give me some thoughts,
please.

The drawing is good. I think the white outline works well. Crit-wise... the respirator, collar, and background seem a little to soft/airbrushy. Also, his arms look a little short, I feel like his hands would be bigger with the perspective. I think the head and face are very well rendered though.

My sentiments echo Tedsuo's. I think you just need to render everything like you did the head. It'd really solidify the piece.

The design is kinda neat--mixing old astronaut gear and something alien. The tattoo on the head just evokes images of Darth Maul, along with the aggressive expression.

I'm not too crazy about that strange fractal looking element in the background.

It's only a sketch realy(level up maybe) so didn't want to spend too much time on it, but ... there is always room for improvement!!!
