Need Help Researching A Painting-Rogers

Hello everybody. My grandmother has had an oil painting in her house since I was a kid. I'm just trying to figure out what the first name of the artist is who painted it, and maybe a value. This website looks like a good place to start. I have included pictures in the links below. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

there are a lot of landscape painters named "rogers", but none who would have painted this.
it's likely that this is just an amateur painting.
if i had to guess, i'd say its value is little more than the frame it is in.

though, im no expert... perhaps he a local painter.
where does your grandmother live?,
around when was it painted? (your "childhood" isnt particularly helpful)
