The colours are excellent .. not sure about the feet tho - not quite 'feet' shaped around the top of the toes area.

looks pretty cool, some of the shading looks weird, around the abdomen and on the top of his head. the birds also seem like they are pointed a bit to much toward the sky.

You really need to work on getting some flow and action into your figures. This is stiff stiff stiff. With other subjects you can get away with it, but not with Spidey.

The first thing which bothered me was the stuff you put into his eyes. Spidey's eyes are not a reflective material, but just a pure white cloth.

The dynamics of your figure is lacking, but is on the right track. The fact that both left and right leg are near perfect mirror images of each other sticks out like a sore thumb. Also, the feet are very stiff; i would suggest having spidey use those ankles some.

Over all, the upper body is good, and your camera angle is satisfying, but from the waist down, there are too many problems for this to feel as agile as spider-man should be.

Bleh... late crit... Better late than never.

I really dig the line work on the piece.

Probably a little late to do anything about the pose, but keep symmetry/asymmetry in mind for your next piece. Also, you might want to try adding a little more motion to the figure, both to suggest movement and weight, as well as to make it more interesting to look at. I've attached a couple pics below.

Check out how the first set of lines is rigid and symmetrical. Then check out the second set of lines (bleh... my really crappy re-work). These are asymmetrical and more interesting to the eye. They also suggest movement and weight. Give it a shot on yer next one. Mess with some lines first and get your general idea down.
