Hey all. :)
I don't have any expirience in drawing concept art, but I would like to learn how to draw well.
Any tips/tutorials for a begginer like me?

well... you can start with life drawing - some self portraits. The you show us what you've got and... we'll help you from there!
What do you say?

see you in other threads!

Sound good, but how do I start drawing those? How/where can I learn to draw those?
Or is it just a matter of trail and error?

Trial and error?
somehow: yes
You've got to draw a lot and i think 99% of the pics you can only use to see were you made the mistakes... :) That's most important, no tutorial or reference page can help you with this.
To make it a little easier, you can do some very basic tutorials. the one below is really good.
I think it is not that easy to start with a complex body, so you should do some sketches with simplified bodies...

A link to a good tutorials in drawing bodies, from simplified models to complex bodies: http://www.fineart.sk/page_01.htm

Try this one... and if you've got questions, check back in here.... :)

Thanx, I'll try it. :)
I should just start from drawing humans?

That's your decision...

Start with what you _want_ to draw (and find a basics-tutorial) because as i said, it is important that you keep on tryin... and of course it is easier to keep on tryin when you draw things that you like, and not just something that others say you should (weird grammar i know). Of course you cannot start with huge battlescenes and great light & shade compositions... so i think human bodies are not the worst thing to start with... if someone diagrees, i'm listening... :)

Thanx, I will do that I think.
I want to be able to draw fantasy and futuristic characters, so I guess the human body is a good start. Thanks! :)

a key to learning to draw comes from doing master drawings....copies....find a drawing from someone like rembrandt...or michaelangelo...or leonardo....or raphael....and copy it mark for mark....you will learn how they make marks...make forms...create spaces...and suggest anatomy.

if you get stuck on how to draw...the answers are always to be found in the great masters works. just find one you like and make a perfect copy...then do something similar to that on your own with your own model or yourself as the model.

good luck.....the key is life drawing...it always is.
