Very nice work, the characters are rendered well, and the concepts are original. I also really like the compositions, kinda haphazard, yet still works well together.
I haven't seen many artists write so many notes in their sketches, it definatly adds to the art, but I also think it can distract as well, I think you may be able to blend the words in more, somehow make it look like they are part of the art rather then writen over it. the text blends in sketches 2, 5, and 9 with the drawings more than the others. Just my opinion.
Again very nice work!

man, these are fantastic. i really like the diversity of ideas on each page, all crowded togehter. Reminds me of some of my sketch pages, but yours are a bit more appealing to the eye. :)

hey thanks guys...i was half expecting this to already be on the 5th page lost forever. anyways im just a student at the moment...but i graduate in june (so if you want to hire me hint hint) but right all my sketchbook is for is to get ideas out so when im stressed for ideas and dont know what to draw (i know you all have been there) i can flip open this book and look and read for ideas. it has already come in handy...
and im about to start on another bookalthough not sketches...im going to be doing some in depth studies of objects....much like leonardo come to think of it...you know with the microscope and magnifying glass. there are some pretty interesting things hidden in things like orange peels and the backside of a leaf :D and what im hoping that will do will give me some cool ideas for weird alien skin or armor textures! :D
