Resident Evil 5

I've been a fan of the Resident Evil series for years. They are among the best games ever made in my opinion. Although they went a bit stale up until 2005, every game in the series has been very worthwhile and terrific in every sense. The only games I wouldn't recommend are the off shoot titles, but they are still decent.

Resident Evil 5 news has been very limited lately, although I'm pretty sure the man in the clip is suppost to be Chris Redfield since some of the developers of the earlier games are going to be involved in producing this entry to the saga.

I heard there's gonna be another Resident Evil game on the Nintendo Wii, although no further info has been posted anywhere yet.

Temp from Resident Evil Horror is very good at tracking down rare articles regarding all things Resident Evil and he's a regular in their forums as well.

All i can tell from the trailer is that yes, it is in fact Chris Redfield, and the zombies can run, again.

But I do whan to know what´s Wesker going to do with "las plagas" ( yeah i´m actually into the story XD).

The only thing i didn´t like about Resident Evil 4 was the infinite trowing hatchets some villagers had.

Oh dude! There's sure to be a Res game on Wii. Although the screenies I sawr for the PS# were pretty scrumptious!

Ive also been a big fan of RE since I first played the original on the PS when it first came out.

RE4 was impressive and the new camera made all the difference... but... I hope RE5 will improve upon the horrible dialogue and the weak storyline which held it back from greatness... . there were alot of cheesey one liners from Leon and company and I was kind of suprised NONE of the characters seemed to be the least bit afraid of all these monsters. How about a little fear and anxiety during cutscenes to build even more atmosphere?

Well, you can blame that to the translation actually, dubbed stuff is always modifyed a little bit to fit the audients :(, my guess is that they tried to hard to make Leon look cool plus they didn´t make a serious effort to make the enviroment looks scary or creepy....

In my opinion, what could have made this game creepier....the village children :), the castle was a little to clean as well, and as all habitants of the island became infected, then there wasn´t that many corpses lying around in this one. I miss some blood the other RE never failed to deliver :(.

hmm looks as if the zombies run even faster...atleast in the trailer...that would be bad...i panicked already at those in re4:)
kinda liked leon better than that guy in the trailer...the new one reminds me too much of 08/15 ego shooters. well,but that's just me rambling.

This will be the single most bad ass game ever created! The trailer is tantalizing! The cloth physics are impecable. The zombies are quicker?! Like Carni said, the ones in RE4 were fast enough for me, and I won't even touch RE1: Remake because of those Crimson Heads that run after you. For this game only do I envy PS3.

Too bad it's not coming out for the Wii :P

There will be an exclusive Resident Evil game for Wii but probably not RE5. I guess we can be assured of good graphics for RE Wii but that depends on how much power is dedicated to combating latency issues with the control method. Still it'll look as good on Wii if not better than the GC's RE4 with out that wide screen view.

Yeah, finally som eresident Evil Fans...I like the 4th part the most..hehe, you never know where zombies come BEHIND you...hehe, and the chainsaw-man was the best one..hehe, even when he killed me once...but I have a question:

I´m in the "hall" in the castle (the hall RIGHT AFTER you thfeated the "Blind Prisoner"...well my prob: ashley got kidnapped and me got killed...what can I do??? I really tried everything..I even tried to let ashley outside the door..but she´s there anyway xDDD

well, you may need to be a little more detailed in your description.
but there are several parts where ashley will get kidnapped.
you just need to shoot the kidnapper before he gets too far.
try shooting his legs so you dont hurt ashley.

Dan how the fuck do you find time to play video games so much...? I mean, you find time to paint like 1000 paintings a year, find time to help us poor souls with our artwork on CA, have a wife.... find time to make a baby, find the time to drive up to montreal, do a demo then drive back, do SOI demos, and finally find time to read all the labels on food before purchasing! I need to learn the ways of the force.............. Teach me master!!!!!
