Sorry Lewis, I didn't realize that was your final entry. I thought you had droped out. Sorry for not including you. I'll include you once I work out how to add to a poll.

Does anyone know how to add an entry to the Poll?

Sorry.

Alright! Here's my C&C.
Perenium: Really well executed. I love the little details on the muscle and the veins. My only crit is on your choice of bg color. Not sure if it's the best choice.

Pat: The hulk is really well done. But I think the mountain in front of him is distracting. It would be better off behind him.

Jenifer: Incredible all around. I'm looking hard to find the flaws but didn't manage to find any. Great job! You got my vote.

Tenelaus: Great perspective on Logan. Love the non super hero style you had on him. The only crit is probably no one will know who he is if you were to post outside of the competition. Maybe you can have him flip us off with one of his blades or something. :P

Infinitum: Great use of colors. His anatomy is kind of bulky, though. I would like to see a little more going on than just having him standing there. Maybe have his chains go a little crazier and off the screen to break up the static feeling.

Eriboss: Eww! You're from a very different world than me my friend. It's beautiful in a grotesque way. Though, I can't help but thinking that this is way too similar to your last "Last Man Standing" entry.

Juanillo: It's a really nice painting. I think there needs to bit a bit more going on than just having him walking.

Loizze: Love the Hellboy. I understand it's not finished. It looks great nonetheless. I can see a little anatomy issue on his torso. There needs to be some kind of separation between his pectorals and his trapezius. Maybe show a little clavicle indentions will help.

Lewis: Sorry you’re not on the poll, dude. Here’s my cit. Your drawing is ok. Keep working at it. What bothered me are the tiny hand and the way you cut half of his body off without a reason.

Alright, hope that covers everybody. These entries are really beautiful. Maybe we can do a female version next time. If there is, my dibs on Psylocke.:tihi:

Holy shit! This one was a bitch to decide--too much goodness in one place at one time.

I have to go Jen Zee, but just by a hair's thickness over the next 3 best...

hey guys
lovely job everyone
difficult to put a vote
anyway mine goes to eriboss ,i find the weak bloody batman quite original

jennifer is following him ...it was really close ,by the way the technical vote goes to her ( but there s no technical vote , is there?)

pat ,like your hulk a lot just find it a little bit empty in some areas ...may be the sky is to distracting , or the mountain as infinitum quoted , but i really like the gesture and the king of sfumato on the main figure

perenium, nice dynamic , good details but maybe a bit to blueish , the backgroung doesn t serve the character as it should do, the attitude is great though

tenelaus , cant figure whos this is but the texture is really nice , good work on the colors as well , like it

infinitum, nice painting ,may be a bit too static ,but the character looks great .Like the chains s dynamic and thanks a lot for your crits man

juanillo, your character is very " grafic" in a way that the mix between lines and the colors are quite unusual , love his expression as well , may be some lack of contrast i would say

moiion, nice iron man ,may be the character should pop up a little bit more or the backgroung should be a bit more sketched
like his attitude as well

godd work everybody
what s the next challenge now ???? :))

wow, very cool entries here.Nice work here my fav ones were:
perinium:just: WOW.One of my fav comic characters in a very dynamic pose, with a lovely painting style. It just was the first one i wanted to vode.I miss a lot some kind of BG tho...
Chuck,Mate:the WIP progress was fun to watch, all fun entries, this one is great too, but for some reason i really miss the actual legs here.Very nice painting though.
Jen Zee:This was just tooo cool.Maybe everything is a bit too light, the head area is quite confusing, but the whole thing is just sooo fast, dynamic, sketchy yet finished, that i just had to vote this one.

Very good entries everyone, nice challenge ;)

ciao

Noiion - Thanks I'm glad you like the colours. I agree it probably is a bit static. I was trying to get a feeling of quiet menace into him. I wanted him to have that look that says "I could kill you right now, and that would only be the beginning." I think I would have gone mad if I had tried to draw any more chains, they take ages to draw and paint.

Loizze - Thanks I'm pleased you like it. I think your probably right about it being too static. I'm pleased with how it came out though. I havent crited anyones yet so it's probably not me you should be thanking there.

Lewis - Sorry about not including you. Like I said before I thought you hadn't finished. You hadn't finished his body so I thought it was a wip. Then when you hadn't posted anything else I thought you had dropped out. So sorry about that.

Right, time for some crits.

Perenium - Nice pose. I think the upper body looks great. But I think the legs need more work. At the moment he looks like he's floating slightly. Well done on choosing a difficult perspective though. You've done it very well.

Chuck, mate - Great work. Not really anything to crit. Maybe showing a bit more of his legs would have been good but i'm not sure. I really like it, nice work.

Jen Zee - Very good. I like your take on spawn. The only thing is he seems a bit slender. Almost female in look. Maybe that was what you wanted I don't know. Nice dynamic pose though, and very well painted. Did those chanes take ages? The ones on mine did.

Tenelaus - This well painted. I like the speed paint look you've got. he only thing I would say is I didn't really recognize who he was at first. Some hint as to his alter ego would have been good I think. But still, nice painting.

Eriboss - Was it something batman said? Very well painted. The gleem on the blood looks very believable. Also a very original take. I can't say I entirely like it but I don't dislike it either. I can't really work out what I think about it.

Juanillo - Quite a nice initial drawing, you've got the character well. Some of the colouring could use some work though. Particuarily on the lower body.

Loizze - Nice. I really like the way you draw figures. Very confident and dynamic. Yours would have been better if you had had time to finish it but apart from that no crit. I really like the overall image.

Noiion -I think your would have been better if you had had time to finish as well. I like how you've done ironman. His armour has come out well. However it is not very clear exactly what is happening to him. Maybe it would have been if you had had time to finish.

Great work everyone. This was a fun challenge and the quality of everyones work is amazing. Well done.

Argh, sorry it took so long for me to get to this... tons of school work poured in :(. Anyway...

Perenium: Such an awesome, dynamic pose. I almost used this pose for a different painting I was doing recently, and totally wimped out because I didn't think I could pull it off. His teeth are freaky. I wish he did have his tongue though hehe. All slobbery and gooey... it's a prime Venom feature that would really complete the character I think.

Chuck, Mate- Colours we don't normally see the Hulk with :D I love it... it gives it a very Asian feel somehow (with those cliffs and clouds and the bold brush strokes), which is a nice change from all the others we see. I still like the Zoolander Hulk :9.

Tenelaus - You got my vote... love those brush strokes and the highlights/shadows... It reminds me of old western paintings. The atmosphere of some badass cowboy :) I like it a lot! Will you ever make a full version :D?

Infinitum - SPAWNNN!! Woohoo :) Totally sweet traditional rendition of him... You managed to pull off the muscley look that I couldn't haha. Yeah, those chains were so annoying. I actually took a long while off between finishing the rest of the painting and doing the chains because I was scared.

Eriboss - That's an awfuly bloody batman... Gives me the shivers.. Batman looks like he got dragged out of a bloody ditch at 3am in the morning...disconcerting lol. Great execution though I'm not exactly sure about the wide white eyes (it depends on what you were going for... I get the impression his eyes have rolled back into his head, in which case they wouldn't be so wide?).

Juanillo - I really like the subdued palette choice. The lighting is done wonderfully, though Hellboy looks a little depressed hehe (slumped shoulders). Would be cool to see some kind of foggy city scape behind him or something. Very nice!

Loizze - Cool! Dynamic lighting! All hellish and freaky :) I like the fact that you use a full range of shading... something I need to learn to do. I'm not very familiar with the characters soooo hehe!

Noiion: super Iron Man! Awesome job on the metallics, and very dynamic and burly pose. I'm not sure of what it is he's holding up though... may have something to do with my ignorance of the character/comics.

Superb entries guys... Can't wait to participate in more challenges :D!

Thanks Jen Zee. I'm glad you like it. Though I think it came out a bit static like people said. I like the dynamic pose on yours.

I took a break before doing the chains as well. They were the only bit I didn't enjoy.

Thanks, Jen I did posted the finished version on another thread (http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=67771). It's not much of an improvement though. He's supposed to be holding up a spaceship. I was watching The Ultimate Avengers movie before working on this. Oh well.
