Hey y´all.

Thought I might show a few pieces of our latest project. Namely the few things I had the opportunity to draw.

These are some unknown evil attackers. Attacking our deares friends and neighbors the martians. I´ll add their characterdesign next week. Alas these folks are about two meters fifty in height. I started of sketching with a lead of "gimme something like borg bugs. Y´know, like star trek?" Ooo-kay. That´s what happend next.

After that we know we had it. Three legs, that´ll make´em real unearthly.

I´m still not sure if they really got three feet or if they have tails and the lower part is some sort of transport device they´re sitting in.

Aterwards these little footsoldiers needed a even bigger and meaner boss. It just came thru the floor and made itself a home somewhere in the city of mars. Set up a controll room from where to operate the unfriendly takeover of mars. The following are the way from sketch to finished piece.

i liek the first character the best --its the most original
i would love to see that thing in movement with its weird legs

the other ones start to feel like starwars droids, or some other bugs ive seen somewhere

the environments need work. the red ones are very flat -color and value wise. i would also recommend really jumping into two and three point perspective to make your environments more dynamic and believable--good luck--ty
