This was done for the Enviroment drawoff. Don't know where it went wrong? Colours? to bright,Compostition, Persective? the basic pic itself? or maybe a bit of all that i mentioned. I rushed to it at the end as i could,nt spot where the problem lay.

I think you should separate cleary the light between the castle and the background for a better perspective. Where's the sun ? I'm a bit dizzed 'cause there's 2 sources of light. As for myself,I feels like it's coming from behind your castle, near the mountains 'cause your sky is too dark above. You could let the light go between your 3 towers for a nice rendering, higlighting the edge and making darker the front. Don't know if you understand lol, if not I'll make you a quick sketch.
As for your waterfalls, I don't see any rocks. They just seem to go up and down with your hills, without having any real reason to do so.
Anyway, I really like the way you've painted rock, grass and water. You sure kick ass on these.
That's my 2 cents.

IMO, the two largest towers look 2D, because their tops are flat instead of curved. If they were square towers, they would be fine, like the gatehouse. Other than that, the background is great, especially the water and forest.

You might try lessening the amount of detail on the bricks of the castle. It looks too detailed for how far away it is.
