It's one of my first concept drawings. Sketch made by pencil, then digitaly painted by mouse-clicking.
Any comments are most welcome!

this is good.
U have fallen into a few digital paint traps, its a bit muddy and the definition is inconsistant. I think its just a case of defining your forms better making your edges clearer, using a flat hard brush to make strong gestures, avoid dodge and burn and avoid black, even in your shadows. i would avoid smudging so much too, try and define the shapes with proper changes in value, try and paint more traditionally and paint from life, edleast photos, althho i dont doubt u used a ref for the skull. The only reason im giving u my 'advice' for whatever its worth to you, is i can see a LOT of talent here and its just the mistakes i have stated that people are frowning upon, if the pic is too muddy or undefined people will frown and disregard the piece, mostly without knowing why they dont like it :(
well done

A tablet is a great aid in digital art so dont let this seem it isnt, but if u start using one i feel u will have to pay even more attention to what i said, u must be thinking what am i am on, let me explain. the first 2 months i used a tablet, i made basic painting mistakes for every piece, they looked like mud and values ended up inconsistant, edges poorly defined and detail was incosistant. However hard i tried in fact and the more i tried, the more i would pick at and kill a piece- i would dodge, burn, redo, new brush, smaller brush, colour adjust, new colour, diff opacity it was all too damn easy all of a sudden. With a mouse u have to avoid all of this because of sanity reasons and youd prob develop rsi in a few weeks, u r forced to make big bold shapes from the off and be more generally definate in your choices big bold gestures hard edges and clear changes in value, also every mistake happy or otherwise help u learn. U draw more childlike, which is prob best tip ive ever heard, bold strokes thinking about and working the whole page together. Ive seen of a lot of people who used a mouse for years and there work is amazing and grounded in traditional art methods.
A tablet is of course the way to go, but please heed my warning, the 'mistakes (sorry)' u made in this piece will be far easier to repeat WITH a tablet than without, use your sword wisely my friend ;)
Post more please!
How old are u?
